Houthis Claim Drone Strike on Saudi Aramco Refinery in Jazan
The Houthi movement in Yemen has claimed responsibility for a drone strike on an oil refinery operated by Saudi state-owned energy giant Saudi Aramco in the southwestern region of Jazan. The attack allegedly occurred in response to what the group described as 'violations of Yemeni airspace' over the northern provinces of Saada and Hajjah.
According to the Houthi-run Saba news agency, citing a military source, several drones were used in the attack. The source also claimed that the drones successfully struck the refinery.
There has been no immediate comment from Saudi authorities or Saudi Aramco regarding the claim.
