Houthis Claim Responsibility for Attacks on Saudi Oil Tanker, Troop Concentrations

The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for several attacks on Saudi oil tankers and troop concentrations in eastern Yemen. The group said it had struck a Saudi oil tanker, the Amzan, with a ballistic missile off the coast of Yanbu in western Saudi Arabia.

A direct hit caused a fire aboard the vessel, according to the Houthi statement. Several other ships left the area following the attack.

The Houthis also claimed they had conducted two other operations against Saudi troop concentrations using ballistic missiles and drones. One operation targeted a large convoy carrying military equipment in eastern Yemen's Hadramout province near the Saudi border.

More than ten trucks were damaged or destroyed, according to the group's statement.
