Houthis Claim Responsibility for Attacks on Saudi Oil Tankers
The Iran-aligned Houthis have claimed responsibility for missile attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, said the attacks were launched in response to what they described as a Saudi siege on Yemen.
The Houthis have imposed a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea since last month, citing Riyadh's alleged siege on their country. Saudi Arabia has denied these allegations.
