Houthis Claim Responsibility for Missile Attack on Saudi Oil Tanker and Drone Strike
The Houthi movement in Yemen has claimed responsibility for a ballistic missile attack on a Saudi oil tanker and a drone strike targeting Najran Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.
The claims, which had not been independently verified, signal continuing tensions between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia despite years of efforts to reduce hostilities.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree stated that the group launched the attack in response to alleged Saudi drone activity over northern Yemen.
