Houthis Claim Responsibility for Second Attack on Aramco Facility in Jizan
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed responsibility for an attack on a Saudi Aramco oil facility in Jizan, citing airstrikes over two governorates as the reason. This is not the first time the Houthis have targeted Aramco's facilities; they previously attacked the same location with drones in mid-July.
The rebels have been escalating their attacks against Saudi Arabia since declaring a maritime blockade of the Red Sea on July 20th, which they claim is retaliation for Saudi Arabia's siege of Yemen. They have also claimed to have attacked five Saudi warships near Mocha port in Yemen with ballistic missiles.
Despite these claims, the Saudi government and military have not made any specific comments regarding the Houthi attacks.
