Houthis Claim to Down Turkish-Made Drone Over Yemen

The Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed they shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar Akinci armed reconnaissance drone operated by Saudi forces over Yemen's Al Jawf province on Sunday.

The group's military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, said the Houthis successfully brought down the drone using an appropriate weapon.

This incident comes after the Houthi group announced attacks targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, describing them as retaliation for recent Saudi airstrikes.
