Houthis Fire Missiles, Drones at Saudi Arabia in Response to Strikes on Hodeida

Yemen's Houthi rebels have fired missiles and drones at Saudi Arabia in response to airstrikes on the strategic Red Sea city of Hodeida, said Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Iranian-backed rebels.

The attacks targeted facilities of Aramco, the world’s largest oil company, in the Red Sea cities of Yanbu and Jizan, according to the Houthis.

The Houthi attacks came after Saudi airstrikes on Hodeida and Kamaran island, off Yemen's western coast, which are controlled by the Houthis.

No immediate comment was available from Saudi Arabia, but its civil defense said an alert sounded multiple times in Yanbu and Jizan on Saturday.
