Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis have expanded their operations against Saudi Arabia by launching attacks from Iraqi territory, according to assessments by Saudi Arabia and regional partners.

The attacks were carried out in coordination with Iraqi armed groups and under the supervision of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), officials said.

The Houthi's attacks on Saudi oil facilities are part of a growing trend of cooperation between Iran-aligned militias, which have deepened their ties despite years of U.S. and Israeli strikes.

Farea al-Muslimi, a research fellow at the Chatham House think tank, noted that 'there is now direct training and coordination between members of the Axis of Resistance themselves, not just between them and Iran.'
