Houthis Launch Devastating Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities
A wave of Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia has left 73 people wounded and ignited fires at several oil facilities in the kingdom's southern region. The attacks, which occurred early Tuesday morning, targeted 'civilian and economic facilities' in the cities of Abha's Jazan, Najran, and Khamis Mushait.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen has vowed to retaliate against the Houthi rebels, calling their actions a 'serious escalation' and a 'flagrant violation of the kingdom's sovereignty.'
The clashes are part of a renewed conflict between the Houthis and Saudi-backed government forces in Yemen. The war has been ongoing since 2014, with the Houthis seizing the capital city of Sanaa and forcing the government into exile.
