Houthis Strike Saudi Aramco Oil Refinery in Jizan
Yemen's Houthi movement has reportedly carried out a strike on an oil refinery belonging to Saudi Aramco in Jizan, a city in southwestern Saudi Arabia. According to the Houthi-controlled SABA news agency, the attack was conducted using two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This is the latest in a series of escalating tensions between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed government in Yemen.
The incident marks a significant escalation in the conflict, which has been ongoing for years. The Houthi movement had earlier announced a maritime blockade of Saudi Arabia, targeting Saudi oil tankers. On Sunday, they claimed to have struck an oil facility on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia.
