Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Facility on Red Sea Coast
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed responsibility for striking an oil facility on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. According to Yahya Saree, the group's military spokesman, the Houthis used a drone to target the Aramco refinery in Jazan and were successful in their attack.
The strike was described as 'precise' by Saree, who added that it was in response to Saudi incursions into territory in northwest Yemen. The attack highlights ongoing tensions between the two nations, with the Houthis frequently launching attacks against Saudi targets.
