Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Infrastructure Amid Tensions Between US and Iran
The Iran-backed Houthis have claimed responsibility for attacking Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure in recent days, targeting key facilities at Yanbu and Jizan.
The Houthi military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said the faction had hit 'sensitive Aramco-affiliated facilities' with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones.
This move comes as Saudi Arabia has been rerouting its oil shipments through a pipeline to avoid the Strait of Hormuz, which has been disrupted due to ongoing tensions between the US and Iran.
US President Donald Trump warned of 'very strong military action' against Iran if talks between the two countries fail, with little time given for diplomacy.
