Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Sites, Oil Prices Soar to Nearly $100 Per Barrel

The Middle East conflict escalated on Tuesday, pushing oil prices up to nearly $100 per barrel. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Houthi strikes targeting energy infrastructure resulted in 73 civilian injuries, including women and children.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the Trump administration is tracking developments 'very closely.' He also suggested that the Iranian hand may be behind some of the recent attacks.

Houthi military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree warned that their operations are not over, and they will continue to target Saudi Arabia's military and retaliate against any siege until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted from their country.
