Houthis Strike Saudi Oil Tanker in Maritime Ban Enforcement
The Iran-backed Houthi group announced that it had targeted a Saudi oil ship in response to what it called a 'violation of the decision to ban maritime navigation.'
The group, known as the Houthis, claimed that its forces targeted the oil tanker NCC GHAZAL with ballistic missiles after ignoring warning calls.
The Houthis said they would continue enforcing their naval ban on Saudi Arabia, citing a policy of 'blockade for blockade, and comprehensive escalation for comprehensive escalation.'
