Yemen's Houthi forces have targeted eight Saudi oil tankers since the maritime blockade began on July 22, according to their military spokesman. The latest ballistic missile attack was carried out as part of a decision by the Yemeni Armed Forces to enforce the blockade against Saudi Arabia.

The tanker Wafa was struck by several ballistic missiles, with the Houthi forces claiming precision in their attack, Al Jazeera reported.

Additionally, 29 Saudi oil tankers have been prevented from continuing their voyages and forced to turn back in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea since the blockade was imposed.
