Houthis Target Saudi Aramco's Jazan Refinery in Drone Attack

The Houthis claim to have launched a drone attack on Saudi Aramco's Jazan refinery, targeting one of the world's top oil exporters. The attack comes just two days after Saudi Arabia signed a defense pact with Turkey and Pakistan.

The Saudi energy ministry reported that a fire broke out at the refinery but was later extinguished without specifying the cause. No injuries were reported, but the incident has raised concerns about the impact on global energy supplies.

Aramco's Jazan refinery processes 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day in southwestern Saudi Arabia and also produces gasoline and ultra-light sulfur diesel. The Houthis have targeted Aramco facilities before, including attacks on Jazan and Yanbu on the Red Sea.
