Ibex 35 Surges 0.4% Amid Oil Price Decline
The Madrid Stock Exchange's Ibex 35 index started the day Thursday with an increase of almost 0.4%, reaching 20,279 points.
This advance was maintained throughout the morning, with the index hitting a high of 20,332 points by 9:05 am.
The rise in the Ibex 35 came despite a decline in oil prices, with Brent crude falling by around 0.5% to $88.5 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) decreasing by 0.5% to $82.8 per barrel.
