IGL Hikes Delhi CNG Price by Rs 3.89/kg Amid Global LNG Cost Surge

Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has increased the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Delhi by Rs 3.89 per kg, effective from August 29, due to a sharp rise in international liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices.

The revised CNG price is now Rs 86.98 per kg, up from the previous rate of Rs 83.09.

This latest increase takes the total hike in Delhi's CNG price this year to nearly Rs 10 per kg, with prices rising from Rs 77.09 at the start of 2026.
