IGL Partners with University of Delhi for PNG Connections
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has partnered with the University of Delhi to provide domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections to 756 staff quarters on campus. This move marks a significant step towards expanding clean and continuous natural gas access to residential communities within one of India's leading educational institutions.
The partnership was signed on September 12, 2026, and will see IGL connect the staff quarters directly to its domestic PNG network. This initiative is expected to provide residents with a continuous piped gas supply and reduce their dependence on conventional LPG cylinders for household cooking.
IGL noted that this collaboration is part of its broader effort to expand natural gas infrastructure deeper into homes, institutions, and communities across its authorized geographical areas.
