IGL Raises CNG Prices Across Delhi-NCR Amid Global LNG Cost Surge
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased CNG prices in Delhi-NCR by Rs. 3.89 per kg, citing a sharp rise in LNG costs. The price hike is effective from August 29 and brings the cost of CNG to Rs. 86.98 per kg in Delhi.
The latest revision marks the fifth CNG price increase by IGL this year, with prices raised to Rs. 95.59 per kg in Noida and Ghaziabad, Rs. 95.47 per kg in Meerut, and Rs. 92.01 per kg in Gurugram.
The increase in CNG prices comes as international LNG costs have nearly doubled since July compared to pre-conflict levels due to the renewed escalation of tensions in West Asia.
