India Equity Markets Poised for Cautious Optimism Amid Easing Middle East Tensions and Crude Oil Price Drop
India's equity markets are poised for a cautiously optimistic start on Monday, thanks to easing tensions in the Middle East and plummeting crude oil prices.
Brent crude futures dropped over 6% to $82.41 after US President Donald Trump announced that talks with Iran would take place on Monday.
The decline in oil prices is seen as a positive development for India, helping to ease inflationary pressures, supporting the rupee, and improving the macro outlook.
According to Rajesh Palviya, Head of Research at Axis Direct, technically, the market continues to maintain a positive bias as long as the Nifty sustains above the 24,250 support zone.
