India Gold Prices Fall to New Lows Amid Market Volatility
Gold prices in India have been experiencing a downward trend, offering some relief to jewellery buyers. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 24-carat gold has fallen by Rs 1,907, taking its price per 10 grams to Rs 1.43 lakh.
Silver prices have also dropped significantly, with a one-kilogram drop of Rs 6,543, bringing the rate down to Rs 2.18 lakh.
While gold remains more expensive than it was at the end of last year, silver has followed a different trajectory and is now trading around Rs 12,000 lower than its December 2025 price.
Market analysts believe that the correction presents a buying opportunity for investors but caution against investing all at once. They suggest accumulating gradually through staggered purchases to average out potential price fluctuations.
