India Gold Silver Prices Soar as Silver Hits ₹2.19 Lakh

Gold and silver prices in India have seen an increase on July 29. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, one kilogram of silver has become ₹1,270 more expensive, reaching a price of ₹2.19 lakh. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has increased by ₹178 to ₹1.42 lakh.

This year, gold prices have seen fluctuations. So far in 2026, gold has become ₹9 thousand rupees more expensive. On December 31, 2025, the price of 10g gold was above ₹1.33 lakh, which has now reached ₹1.42 lakh.

Silver prices have also fallen by ₹11 thousand rupees this year. Silver was priced at ₹2.30 lakh per kg on December 31, 2025, but is now at ₹2.19 lakh.
