India Lifts Wheat Export Restrictions Effective Immediately
The Indian government has lifted restrictions on wheat exports, effective immediately.
This decision comes after halting wheat exports in 2022 and partially relaxing restrictions earlier this year.
The export policy for wheat and related products, including atta, maida, and semolina (rava/sirgi), has been changed from 'prohibited' to 'free', as per Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) notifications.
