Indian Copper Prices Slip on Weak Demand
Copper prices declined in futures trade due to muted demand from consuming industries. In India, copper prices fell by Rs 3.60 to Rs 1,371.60 per kilogram for August delivery. The contract slipped 0.26% in 1,918 lots.
Traders pointed out that subdued domestic demand weighed on the red metal prices in futures trade. This trend is evident in the spot market as well, where demand remains weak.
