Indian Equities Soar as Crude Oil Prices Fall on US-Iran Talks Hopes
The Indian equity markets opened on a positive note as crude oil prices fell due to hopes of US-Iran negotiations. The Nifty 50 gained 161.40 points or 0.66% to trade at 24,545.00, while the Sensex rose 586.57 points or 0.75% to 78,681.21.
The decline in crude oil prices has boosted investor sentiment as lower oil prices can help reduce inflationary pressures and improve the outlook for oil-importing economies like India.
Among the Nifty 50 constituents, ITC, InterGlobe Aviation, and Bajaj Finance emerged as top gainers during the early trade session, supporting the broader market momentum.
