Indian Gold and Silver Prices Drop Slightly on September 11
The gold and silver prices in India experienced a slight decline on September 11, 2026. The domestic bullion prices saw a downward revision, providing some relief to retail buyers who had been facing historic highs recently.
The benchmark 24-karat gold price dropped to ₹15,289 per gram, marking a decrease of ₹262 from previous sessions. Standard 22-karat gold, widely used for traditional jewellery, settled at ₹14,015 per gram. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold stood at ₹11,467 per gram.
Silver prices also saw a slight easing, with industrial and retail demand recording minor fluctuations. The price of silver stood at ₹245 per gram, bringing the per-kilogram rate to ₹2,45,000.
