Indian Gold and Silver Prices Plummet Amid Ongoing Market Volatility
Gold and silver prices in India's domestic markets have continued their downward trend, with gold dropping to ₹1.51 lakh per 10 grams on September 15. This represents a decline of ₹5,000 from its value on August 31.
The price of 24-carat gold fell by ₹888 today, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). Over the last 15 days, gold has lost ₹5,000, dropping from ₹1.56 lakh per 10 grams on August 31.
Silver also saw a sharp dip, falling by ₹1,270 today to around ₹2.28 lakh per kilogram. This is down by ₹10,000 from its price on August 31.
