Indian Gold and Silver Prices See Mixed Trend Amid US Economic Data Watch
The prices of gold and silver in India are experiencing a mixed trend in domestic futures trade on September 7, after gold prices rose sharply in the retail bullion market on Friday while silver remained unchanged.
At the time of writing, MCX Gold October futures were trading at around ₹1,52,274 per 10 grams, down ₹493 or 0.32 per cent, while MCX Silver December futures stood at ₹2,36,737 per kg, lower by ₹921 or 0.39 per cent.
The 24-karat gold rate is ₹15,290 per gram in India, with a decrease of ₹440 (0.290%) from the previous day's rate. The silver rate is ₹2,36,570 per kilogram, showing a decrease of ₹600 (0.250%).
Market participants are now watching US inflation data and signals on the Federal Reserve's interest-rate outlook, which could determine the next major move in precious metals.
