Indian Gold Futures Plunge Amid Weak Spot Demand
Gold futures declined on low demand in India's commodity market. The price of gold fell by Rs 636 to Rs 1,53,626 per 10 grams in futures trade. The October delivery contracts traded lower by 0.41% with a business turnover of 837 lots.
The analysts attributed the decline in precious metal prices to weak spot demand. Globally, gold futures rose by 0.10% to $4,338.74 per ounce in New York.
