Indian Gold Futures Rise as Spot Demand Firms
Gold futures prices rose significantly in India's futures trade due to firm spot demand. The October delivery contract for gold saw a notable increase of 0.68% in value. This rise was largely driven by speculators creating fresh positions, leading to higher prices.
The price of gold per 10 grams now stands at Rs 1.53 lakh, representing an increase of Rs 1029 from the previous rate. Market analysts attribute this increase to the growing demand for gold in the spot market.
