Indian Gold Futures Soar to ₹1.50 Lakh on Strong Spot Demand
Gold prices in futures trade rose on Friday to ₹1.50 lakh per 10 grams, driven by speculators creating fresh positions on strong spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw gold contracts for October delivery trade higher by ₹1,272, or 0.85 percent, at ₹1,50,130 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,283 lots.
Fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in precious metal prices, analysts said.
