Indian Gold Futures Tumble Amid Weaker Spot Demand
Gold futures prices in India dropped by Rs 208 to Rs 1,54,252 per 10 grams on Tuesday due to weak spot demand. The decline was also influenced by a fall in global gold prices.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw trading of yellow metal contracts for October delivery, which traded lower by Rs 208 or 0.13% at Rs 1,54,252 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 2,452 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in gold prices to weaker spot demand. Globally, gold futures also declined by 0.12% to USD 4,432.26 per ounce in New York.
