Indian Gold Price Drops as Silver Remains Flat

The gold price in India has seen a decline in the last 24 hours. On August 25, 2026, the cost of 24-carat gold (10 grams) decreased by Rs 220 to Rs 1,63,750, while 22-carat gold (10 grams) dropped by Rs 200 to Rs 1,50,100.

The decrease in gold prices was observed across major cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar. The price of 18-carat gold also decreased by Rs 120 to Rs 1,22,810 in Bhubaneswar.

The silver rate in India remained constant in the last 24 hours, with a price of Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram on August 25, 2026. However, the price of Silver in Bhubaneswar decreased by Rs 10,000 to Rs 2,65,000.
