Indian Gold Prices Continue to Fluctuate Amid Global Market Volatility
The price of gold in India is fluctuating due to global and local factors. On August 9, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gold futures for October 5 started at Rs 1,49,029 per 10 grams, a 0.36% increase from the previous day. The price reached a high of Rs 1,49,700 during the day.
The COMEX gold was up 0.36% at $4,320 per ounce, while the COMEX silver was at $62.36 per ounce, a 0.12% increase from the previous day.
The price of gold in India is influenced by global and local factors, including the international price of gold, the strength of the US Dollar, and local use of gold during holiday seasons.
