Indian Gold Prices Decline Except in Chennai

Gold prices declined for the second consecutive day in most Indian bullion markets on Tuesday, except for Chennai. In contrast to the downward trend, gold prices increased by Rs 500 to Rs 540 per 10 grams in Chennai.

The precious metal's price was trading between Rs 1,51,960 and Rs 1,52,170 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets across the country. In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,52,110 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,39,440 per 10 grams.

Silver prices remained unchanged, with the precious metal continuing to trade at Rs 2,44,900 per kilogram in Delhi. The price of 24-carat gold ranged from Rs 1,51,960 to Rs 1,52,170 per 10 grams in various bullion markets, while 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 1,39,290 and Rs 1,39,490 per 10 grams.
