Gold prices in India continued their downward trend on July 25, following weakness in international bullion markets. Despite higher import duties, the recent decline is attributed to easing geopolitical tensions and cautious investor sentiment.

The price of 24K gold fell by ₹185 per gram compared to July 23, while 22K gold declined by ₹170 per gram and 18K gold dropped by ₹139 per gram. The current prices are as follows: Delhi (₹14,448/gram), Mumbai (₹14,433/gram), Kolkata (₹14,433/gram), Bengaluru (₹14,433/gram), Hyderabad (₹14,433/gram), and Pune (₹14,433/gram).

Market participants point to softer international bullion prices as the primary reason for the decline. Analysts also mention that cautious investor sentiment ahead of key global economic data releases has contributed to the recent correction.
