Indian Gold Prices Hit Record High as Silver Falls Amid Global Uncertainty
Gold prices in India have reached new record highs on August 13, while silver has seen a decline. According to market experts, falling US bond yields and stable dollar movement are contributing to gold's strong performance. The international market is also seeing spot gold climb to $4,412.63 per ounce.
In major Indian cities, both 24-carat and 22-carat gold prices have increased. In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold has reached ₹1,55,020 per 10 grams, while in Mumbai and Kolkata, it is trading at ₹1,54,870 per 10 grams.
The changing dynamics of investor preferences are also being cited as a reason for gold's rally. Market experts believe that geopolitical uncertainty alone is no longer enough to drive gold prices higher, and investors are now tracking the impact of global developments on inflation and interest rate decisions.
