Indian Gold Prices Plummet Again Amid Global Weakness

Gold prices in India have dropped for the second consecutive day due to weak global trends. The price of gold in Delhi fell by Rs 2,150 to Rs 1.58 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday. Silver prices, however, rose by Rs 600 to Rs 2.41 lakh per kilogram.

The decline in gold prices is attributed to the current weak global trend. Despite a slight increase in silver prices overseas, India's silver market saw a rise of Rs 600 in price due to a weak dollar and anticipation of US inflation data.

Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn, said, 'Silver is recovering as a weak dollar supports precious metals, while market participants remain focused on the upcoming US inflation data and Federal Reserve rate expectations.'
