Indian Gold Prices Reach Two-Month High Amid Global Buying

Gold prices in India jumped sharply on August 11, reaching a two-month high as strong global buying pushed the precious metal. International spot gold climbed above $4,400 per ounce, while domestic retail rates also recorded significant increases across major cities.

The rally lifted MCX gold futures above ₹1.55 lakh per 10 grams during the morning session, but prices later gave up some of those gains due to high volatility in the bullion market.

Investors are tracking crude oil prices, inflation concerns, US monetary policy expectations, and global demand for safe-haven assets, which may impact gold prices in the near future.
