Indian Gold Prices Remain Flat Amid Muted Demand
Gold prices in India remained stable at Rs 1,59,650 per 10 grams on Thursday due to muted spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw a marginal drop of Rs 13 in October contracts, while earlier in the session futures had plummeted to Rs 1,56,692 from the previous close of Rs 1,59,663.
Analysts attributed the decline in gold prices to weaker spot demand, with global gold futures edging up by 0.23 per cent to USD 4,601.64 per ounce in New York.
