Indian Gold Prices Remain High Amid Global Economic Uncertainty
Gold prices in India remained high on August 3, while silver prices fell in the domestic market. In Delhi, 24-karat gold was priced at Rs 144,360 per 10 grams, and 22-karat gold at Rs 132,240 per 10 grams.
The bullion market is being closely watched by investors due to global economic developments, currency movements, and international precious metal prices. Gold has remained near record levels in recent sessions, but silver has seen some profit booking in the domestic market despite strength in global prices.
Silver prices have declined in the domestic market, with a 5,000-rupee fall over the past week. However, spot silver rose to USD 58.02 per ounce in the international market, indicating continued global demand for the precious metal.
