Indian Gold Prices Remain Steady Amid Market Volatility
The current gold and silver prices in India remain stable on August 30, according to various top jewellers. Gold is being traded mainly in two purities, 24-karat and 22-karat, with 24-karat considered the purest form but also more expensive due to its higher value.
Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds are both quoting ₹15,030 per gram of gold across major Indian states, while Tanishq's 22K gold rate stands at ₹15,055 per gram. The marginal differences in retail prices are influenced by brand-specific pricing policies, procurement costs, and regional market conditions.
The latest gold rates for different cities in India are as follows: Delhi (₹1,61,290 for 24K, ₹1,47,860 for 22K), Mumbai (₹1,61,140 for 24K, ₹1,47,710 for 22K), and others. The silver prices are also steady, with Delhi at ₹27,190 per 100gm.
