Indian Gold Prices Rise Amid Global Gains
Gold prices in India rose on July 25, 2026, as futures trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) posted gains. The 24-carat gold futures contract on the MCX traded 0.17 per cent higher, rising Rs 245 to Rs 1,43,066 per 10 grams during morning trade.
The previous session saw a decline in prices, with the August contract on the MCX falling Rs 849, or 0.59 per cent, to settle at Rs 1,41,972 per 10 grams amid softer spot demand.
Experts weighed in on gold's outlook, with Praveen Singh, head of commodities at Mirae Asset Sharekhan, stating that spot gold was trading marginally higher at around $4,060 per ounce in overseas markets.
