Indian Gold Prices Rise Slightly Amid Global Market Trends

Gold prices in India saw a marginal increase on August 1, rising by ₹1 per gram across major purity categories. The current price of 24-carat gold (99.9% purity) is ₹14,461 per gram, while 22-carat gold (91.6% purity) stands at ₹13,256 per gram. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold (75% purity) is available for ₹10,846 per gram in most cities.

In Delhi, gold prices are slightly higher, with 24-carat gold retailing at ₹14,476 per gram and 22-carat gold at ₹13,271 per gram. Vadodara and Ahmedabad also recorded marginally higher prices compared to other cities.

On the other hand, silver prices witnessed a slight decline, priced at ₹234.90 per gram, down by ₹0.10 from the previous session. The rate for one kilogram of silver stands at ₹2,34,900, a decrease of ₹100.
