Indian Gold Prices Slide as Central Banks Continue to Hoard

Gold prices in India fell on Friday to 12,501.02 Indian Rupees (INR) per gram from Thursday's price of 12,578.45 INR per gram.

The price for Gold also decreased to 145,809.30 INR per tola from 146,712.60 INR per tola a day earlier.

Central banks added 1,136 tonnes of Gold worth around $70 billion to their reserves in 2022, according to data from the World Gold Council.
