Indian Gold Prices Slip Marginally as Rupee Appreciates Against Dollar
On August 4, gold prices in India experienced a marginal decline. The price of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹1 to ₹14,421 per gram, while 22-carat gold fell ₹1 to ₹13,219 per gram and 18-carat gold also declined by ₹1 to ₹10,815 per gram.
Silver prices in India also eased slightly, with the price of silver standing at ₹234.90 per gram or ₹2,34,900 per kilogram, down ₹100 from the previous session.
The decline was modest and indicated that domestic bullion prices remained relatively steady despite mixed global cues.
