Indian Gold Prices Soar to New Heights

Gold prices in India saw an increase on Thursday, reaching Rs 14,192.09 per gram compared to Rs 14,090.06 per gram the previous day.

The price rise also extended to other units of measurement, with gold now costing Rs 1,65,534.30 per tola and Rs 4,41,422.70 per troy ounce, according to FXStreet data.

FXStreet notes that its India gold rates are based on international prices adjusted using the USD-INR exchange rate and local units of measurement.

Livemint reported a price of Rs 1,58,778 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold on August 27, with rates varying depending on purity, market, and source.
