Indian Gold Prices Surge Amid Middle East Tensions

Gold prices in India have increased significantly over the last 24 hours due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. According to recent data, the price of 24-carat gold has risen by Rs 1090 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold has seen a Rs 1000 increase. The 18 Carat gold rate has also increased by Rs 820 in the last 24 hours.

The prices vary across major cities, with Delhi seeing a price of Rs 1,52,550 for 24 carats and Rs 1,39,850 for 22 carats. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar have all seen similar increases in gold prices.

The silver rate in India has remained unchanged over the last 24 hours, with a price of Rs 2,45,000 per kilogram recorded on August 8, 2026. The price of Silver in Bhubaneswar has also remained flat at Rs 2,50,000.
