Indian Gold Prices Surge as Silver Remains Stable
Gold prices in India continued their upward trend on August 1, marking the second consecutive day of gains. In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged.
The price increase made gold costlier by Rs. 250 to Rs. 270 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. The revised prices saw 24-carat gold trading between Rs. 1,44,610 and Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams in major cities.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams, while in Mumbai, it stood at Rs. 1,44,610 per 10 grams. The price of 22-carat gold was recorded between Rs. 1,32,560 and Rs. 1,32,710 per 10 grams in these cities.
The precious metal market remained firm amid changing domestic and global factors influencing investor sentiment and demand. Despite the fluctuations, bullion markets across India, including Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, witnessed a rise in gold prices.
